I think these are good if you are on a budget, I'm normally in between a size 14W and regular 16 in jeans. My bra size is 40DD, and I'm about 5 foot 3, and these shorts fit well. I would have liked more tummy support but I can live with it, it's enough to get me by 6 hours! Also I got period bloat , and these still went on and sat comfortably. So if your in a hurry like I was for an event these will do.

Performed exactly as expected. Did not make me smaller, but smoothed all the lumpy spots. Stayed in place, did not roll down and I'm glad I opted for shapewear with shorts - the event I needed it for was warm and these kept my thighs from getting sticky under a heavy dress. Haven't worn them more than once, so cannot comment on their longevity. I'm 5' and 160lbs and got these in a M/L.

I got this to wear with a knit fabric pencil dress for a Halloween costume. The waist cincher I got to go with it was pushing some of my stomach/side fat down into an unflattering position over my hips, and this shapewear (the first I've ever tried) definitely helps! It's also more comfortable than I expected, except for a couple little boning lines near the top (probably to help keep it from rolling down), which can dig in a bit in certain positions, but I'm getting used to it. I'm 5'4" and around 165 lbs and got the M/L, and was worried about the length according to the top rated review from someone the same height about it being too long for their torso and constricting their ribs (making it hard for them to breath), but it's not much more compression than a well-fitting sports bra. I anticipate it'll get a little annoying if I wear it for a long time (like a sports bra can), but after only 30 minutes of wearing it, so far so good! I'll update if it gets to be too much after wearing it to an event for the evening.

I was scared at first especially since my hips and waist hit into different size categories, but I put my faith in the comments and got the xl/2x which fit my hip measurements (I typically wear a 3-4x) I'm 5'5 and 260pounds. After putting them on I did my usually routine of walking/jumping around for ten minutes and they didn't roll down at all. I posted a below and after photos with the review so you could see the difference.
